My name is Gill, I'm an artist and illustrator, and I work from my home in Kent. I take inspiration from our beautiful countryside, the animals and birds that live in the woods and forests and our varied and unique British landscape.
All my designs begin life as drawings or sketches which I then adapt with the help of Photoshop to add more detail and colour and then re-size for a lampshade, table lamp or lantern. I use colours that reflect nature and the changing seasons and my aim is to make make my illustrations tell a story and in doing so, add charm and character to a home. The lampshades and table lamps are designed for use in any room and my lanterns are popular for summer nights and winter evenings as well as Christmas. My lampshades can be made in bespoke sizes and I can be contacted through the website.
